Zero To A Million in A Year

Now some folks make this much in a single day and might say this is too easy of a goal. Others might consider it completely unrealistic if not downright impossible. But what is most important, is what I SAY and I say I CAN AND WILL DO IT.

This is a the double affirmation recently inspired by a teleconference with my mentors Frank Kern and Eben Pagan (going on my bathroom mirror)

I deserve all the prosperity I can attract into my life and I give myself permission to have it all.

I intend for this to be a good lesson for myself and others in the truth of an Abundant Universe and in my ability to share in it openly and freely, when I am “in the zone”. We will explore what it means to be “in the zone” and document the growth of my net worth, currently a few thousand in the negative, to one $million in one year’s time.

This blog will also document and record the lessons and inspriations and money making strategies learned along the way, to be compiled into a book at the end of the year. There will be reviews of books read, movies watched, affirmations spoken, courses completed and all the tools I am using to rewire some stinking thinking in the software of my mind that has me driving my money car with the brakes on my whole life (up until NOW!).

Yes, it’s about the money, but the money is really just an expression and reflection of my value and worth in the world. And gaining this money is meant to be an expression of a profound shift in my self concept that I am currently undergoing. Thankfully my self worth is not determined by my Net Worth as I would be truly depressed. But I do anticipate my sense of worth and self esteem will go up this year, not just because there is money in the bank, but because I have set this goal and proceeded to take specific action, every day to achieve it. I also have a goal of finding a good woman who is willing to share this road with me, but that is another story….

Don’t Believe Everything You Think!

In any case, during this year, I will have succeeded in blasting out of my limited stinking thinking around money and what I am worth or not worth. Leave it to say for now that the current state of my money is a direct reflection of the level of worth and value I have so far assigned to myself. This self depriving, underearning habit is an addictive pattern I am giving up with the help of my friends, my men’s group, good books, audios, seminars, affirmations and my own daily practices.

My Promise

AND, I promise I will do whatever it takes to allow this to happen in my life. Even if it requires some uncomfortable stretching out of my comfort zone and hard personal work. I am so ready to drop the story and limiting belief patterns and fully intend to do so.

Subscribe to my blog feed and follow along. I’ll be posting at least once a week and maybe more. My goal is to also inspire others to do as I am doing and to trust in the goodness and generosity of this abundant and loving Universe.

It’s May 30th and I am setting off on this adventure, as of today. By May 30th, 2009, I plan to have cash and assets totaling $1Million, starting with nothing. I am totally open to the help of friends and anyone else willing to assist me, including the power of Nature and Universe itself. As Wallace Wattles says, God wants me to be rich because only if I am rich can the intent of my being be fully realized in this life.

What Will I Do With All this Money?

Besides my own empowerment, my goal is to create a fund for local house concerts to pay musicians who are SO worthy of more money. (For 3 years, I have been hosting house concerts at my home in Santa Barbara so this would be only partially self serving)

AND, to fund and inspire after school teen mentor programs where one day a week, teen boys and girls get to hang out and play some with cool working men and women. I will be exploring and sharing my vision of that goal as well. And I have a 13 year old son who inspires me to be a great role model and make plenty of money to provide for his education and full, rich life of opportunity.

Tribute To Frank Kern

Lastly, I want to recognize a man who has inspired this vision even though he does not know me personally. Frank Kern (yes, that is his handsome mug to the right) is an internet marketing guru and mentor of mine - a brilliant marketer and funny guy with a knack for making millions. Moved once again by his magic copy, I bought his Mass Control course and was fortunate to be with him in San Diego recently for a jam packed and inspiring weekend conference. And out of all the cool lessons learned there, the one that really hit home was by Frank on the importance of cultivating a positive and success oriented mindset.

He shared how he immersed himself in the books, courses, audios, affirmations, movies that were uplifting and helped him change his own stinking thinking and opened the pathways of his own success. I decided right then and there that I was going to do the same and work hard and deep to reboot my own brain and rewire the connections in my psychic circuitry to open to the abundance that is already here but that I have held at bay. I also wanted to review and recommend the best personal empowerment and self help resources for others to benefit on their own path to fulfillment.

Frank, if you are reading this, and I hope you are, thank you man! And by the way, Happy Birthday, this 30th of May! You rock dude!
